Behind the Magick
Tai Wren

Tai is a lifelong student of consciousness, sacred mystery and the many pathways that return us to connection—with the soul, the Earth and the Divine.
Her work has been shaped by extensive study across mystical, magical and embodied traditions. She completed a yearlong mediumship training with Dana Childs and a two-year priestess training in the Rose Lineage Path of Mary Magdalene. Her initiatory studies include an apprenticeship with the Academy of Oracle Arts, exploring Hermetic principles, Qabalah and Egyptian cosmology, as well as ongoing study in Tarot, ceremonial magick, the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram and the Western Mystery Tradition through the 22 Teachings School of Hermetic Science and Magical Arts.
Tai has also trained in Seiðr with Xiomara Crystal; Irish shamanic traditions with Amantha Murphy; and the teachings of the Essenes, Mary Magdalene, Joseph of Arimathea, the Dragon Lines of Albion, Jesus and Aramaic with The Gnostic Druid. Her path has further included an apprenticeship with Charlie Goldsmith, training in the Voyage program through The Monroe Institute, study with Psychic Boulder School and certification in Spiritual Response Therapy.
For more than eighteen years, Tai has trained, taught and led teacher trainings within multiple yogic lineages, including Jivamukti Yoga, Primal Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Power Vinyasa Yoga and Prenatal Yoga. She also holds a fifth-degree black belt and Master’s Papers in In-Yo Aikido, following more than fourteen years of private training.
Yet beyond every title, lineage and initiation, Tai remains forever a student and seeker—guided by an enduring hunger to understand awakening, consciousness, energy and the mysteries of the soul.
Today, she leads monthly Women’s New Moon and Full Moon Circles, facilitates healing, esoteric and women’s retreats, teaches yoga through a deeply mystical lens and offers private mentorship for those seeking greater connection, clarity and spiritual awakening.
Erica Gibbert
Perhaps the greatest ritual I have ever practiced is simply being in Creation.
Throughout my life, making art has been my truest form of communion, salvation, and passion. Each piece I create is a hanging altar—part prayer, part answer. I make it as a way of listening, of witnessing, of reflecting upon myself, of mingling with God, and to be refined by Beauty.
I believe art desperately wants you to join it in becoming, evolving, and feeling a sense of itself. My work has always been less about making an object and more about getting to behold an essence.
Since 2019, curating experiences for people to have an intimate encounter with Beauty has kept me up at night and daydreaming about all the ways it can unfold. I’m interested in what happens when art is taken off the hook and becomes a dialogue: when we use our hands, our senses, our bodies, our memories, and our own curiosity to not simply admire from a distance, but to be engulfed by the art itself and the essence of its origin.
Beyond art, I have been a seeker. I’ve scoured esoteric teachings through books, trainings, and pilgrimages across the globe. I’ve received certificates and degrees in bodywork therapies, healing modalities, and artistic techniques. I value these opportunities to acquire knowledge, and it has always been important to me to only share from wisdom distilled from what I have fully lived.
I’m enthused and humbled for you to experience The Magick Circle. it was born from my need to reclaim my sense of agency and anchor into my essence and Tai’s ability to sense and craft what will serve. What was an exchange between friends, took on a life of its own when we realized how elegantly the rituals become a reflection of your god-ordained power.
After decades of doing more to “do it right,” believing that elaborate must mean elevated or that intensity equates to depth, I’ve settled into what feels more natural for me—Simplicity. I’ve learned that my bare yearning is all I need to bring to the table, the fire, or when I fall to my knees.
The Magick Circle is an invitation for you to claim what works for you.
The appreciation of Beauty is presence.
The creation of Beauty is art.
The sharing of Beauty is Love.
I hope you feel the Love we poured into The Magick Circle.
That Magic and Beauty feed your soul.
And, That you walk away more enchanted with yourself.
